Hello, readers. After a (moderately) successful, controversial, and succinctly wordy debut posting entitled “A Lamentation for the Decline of Modesty and Nonconformity among Women in the Beachy Amish Mennonite Constituency,” I’ve been subpoenaed by the Grand Intellect of Beachy Complex to give further testimony concerning the state of the Beachy Church in a series of lectures aimed at reclaiming the glory of the Beachy church at its peak year in 1927. Moses M. Beachy, the dedicated father founder of the “Beachy” church who has instructed us wisely through oral tradition and the five volume set, “Complete Writings of Moses M. Beachy,” as well as numerous fortune cookie messages mistakenly attributed to Confucius, has left a legacy difficult to imitate, but I hope to walk closesly in his sound theology and humble practice as his spiritual successor, Moses M. Beachy Jr.

Because Beachy young people, who constitute a majority of site visitors, can no longer understand old KJV english (or Shakespeare, thankfully), I will try to put my messages simply and plainly (not the kind of ’simple’ and ‘plain’ you’re thinking of- the other kind, the kind Beachys today can relate to) in order to get on our readers’ level. Thus, I present you all with an installment of comics about a new super hero: Super Beachy!

Yes, Super Beachy, who helps defend the Beachy Church against all sorts of plagues using his super powers. You will be amazed at the strength and brilliance of Super Beachy as he solves all of the church’s problems and gives his enemies some good old tough love with an extra dose of cheek while not sparing the rod.

In the first issue, learn about Super Beachy’s mysterious past, and then watch as his super powers unfold in the first of many forthcoming challenges: a church split!
