Observations
(Please note that this is the Beachy Complex edition, not the Calvary Messenger edition.)
- I am doing the bulk of the posting on the Beachy Complex. I am receiving 0% of the ad revenue.
- I propose (Maybe I shouldn’t use that word. It makes people thing about marriage. Talking flippantly about marriage debases the seriousness of it and promotes a flirty attitude toward life and the opposite sex (Maybe I shouldn’t use that word…).) that people post more comments. If you can’t think of anything else to say, just post something like, “Laugh-o-meter: 1/5″ (or preferably, “Laugh-o-meter: 5/5″). It would be very helpful to receive some feedback on my (our) posts. Feel free to say, “That was lamer than the justification for no shekich shirts!” or “That was as funny as the justification for no shekich shirts!” or something! The lack of feedback is all too similiar to how I feel when I preach a sermon to a Beachy audience: they sit there stonefaced as if they’re asleep, just swallowed a profusely sweating toad, or simply any state of being which means they think you’re doing a horrible job and they probably disagree with what you are saying. Then afterward they come up to you sweetly and say, “That was such a good sermon! Thanks for the wonderful job you did!” I am tempted to say, “Never woulda guessed!” Please don’t be like that! Don’t keep me (us) guessing on whether we’re doing a decent job or not. Let us know what you think! We know the readership of this here newfangled (read: worldly) blog thing is fairly healthy. (Or maybe all those hits come from BC authors refreshing to see if there are any comments yet.) Let’s let the comment count reflect that!

Thanks a lot for your comments. Especially about commenting on posts. If nobody’s reading our (your) stuff, there’s no point writing it.
